The Tasty Cakes Story
I’ve been a baker for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I used to wish that I could bake every day. Who wouldn’t, I thought. It’s magical. It’s part science, part art, all delicious.
I learned early on to use only the best ingredients. No cutting corners. There’s no sense in eating desserts that aren’t fabulous. I don’t spend my calories on anything that isn’t top-notch and I don’t expect anyone else to either.
For the longest time, I baked just for friends and family. Over time, I became so in demand amongst that crowd, that people started getting a little, um, nervier and started putting in requests for things. “Hey, if I paid you, would you make me one of those ….?” Or “The holidays are coming and I was wondering if you could make me …” And so, Tasty Cakes was the business that started itself. (Or maybe, my friends started it.) Either way, once I put the word out that I would bake everybody’s favorites to order, well, there was no stopping it. Good news travels fast and Tasty Cakes was an instant hit.
I’m convinced that every event is made even better by an amazing cake or some dazzling cookies … or better yet, both! I say that there’s a reason that all of life’s milestones and happy occasions are marked with cake … because cake is good! Cake is how your party will be remembered. People will talk about it long after the event has passed. “Did you see the cake?” “Oh my, they had the best cake.” Give your guests the very best. Do it right and top off your event with really good cake.
